Behind uEye is a family of affordable and extremely compact cameras with USB 2.0 interface for professional use in automation, quality assurance, security technology and non-industrial applications.
By using the widespread USB technology our cameras can easily be connected to a wide range of systems.
uEye cameras come equipped with a line of high-quality CCD and CMOS sensors. Our wide range of products extends from several models with VGA or Wide-VGA resolutions and a maximum of 100 full size images per second to high-resolution mega pixels cameras.

uEye RE IP65/67 Cameras
The uEye RE have similar models to the standard uEye family of affordable and extremely compact cameras
with USB 2.0 interface for professional use.
Additionally the RE models are extraordinarily robust and suitable for an extended range of applications.
In connection with the lens tubes, they meet the protection classes IP65 and IP67. The USB connection and the
I/O signal connection are made through two plugs that meet the same protection classes. The uEye RE range
is therefore particularly well suited to Rough Environments. All uEye models are also available as uEye RE versions.

uEye ME Industrial Cameras
The USB uEye ME is a line of CCD and CMOS cameras that feature a right-angle rugged metal housing.
The low-profile design allows it to be mounted in tight spaces and the lockable USB 2.0 connector makes it ideal for the most demanding vision applications. The USB uEye ME is available with trigger and strobe signals and the entire family is comparable in features and performance to the USB uEye SE series.

The uEyeLE stands for a family of extremely compact cameras for professional use in visualisation and image processing. Through the use of the widespread USB technology the cameras can be interfaced with a vast variety of systems without problems.
uEyeLE cameras feature a range of high-performance CMOS sensors. The product range includes several models with WideVGA resolution and a maximum of 100 full frames per second, as well as a high-resolution 5-megapixel camera.
The uEyeLE series comes in different variants with or without housing. The CS-mount lens adapter of the housing model allows the use of compact, low-cost lenses. With the optional distance adapter you can also use C-mount lenses. The boardlevel variants of the cameras provide S-mount lens adapters for M12/M14 screw-mounted lenses, which achieve a slimmer profile. The LE models can also be used as the basis for special project-related designs.

uEye XS Auto focus Cameras
Less than 1 cubic inch in size, the uEye XS USB 2.0 camera is packed with “smart” features.
The ultra compact housing yet provides enough space for the state of teh art CMOS sensor complete with auto focus lens as well as a DSP. The DSP offers a broad range of functions, some of which are known from consumer cameras. With the uEye XS, these powerful features are now available in a professional USB camera and can be accessed from your own applications using the free uEye SDK.

The GigE uEye SE is a highly compact line of Gigabit Ethernet cameras.
With a housing barely larger than that of the USB uEye models, the GigE uEye SE offers all the benefits of Gigabit Ethernet technology: high bandwidth of more than 100 MByte/s with cable lengths up to 100 meters. Besides the lockable RJ45 port for GigE, the camera comes with a 6-pin Hirose connector for power, trigger and strobe connections.

Gigabit Ethernet uEye RE Cameras
The GigE uEye RE is a line of ruggedized cameras compliant with the IP65/IP67 standards.
They’re ideal for applications where the camera is used in dusty and wet environments. GigE uEye RE cameras come with a GigE interface which allows them to be used with cables with lengths up to 100 meters.

Gigabit Ethernet uEye HE Cameras
The Gigabit Ethernet uEye® extends the broad range of USB cameras by powerful models for sophisticated, complex machine vision and image processing applications. The bandwidth is 2.5 times higher than with USB and cable lengths
up to 100m is possible.
The GigE is a completely newly developed camera whose rich set of features is based on customers needs and introduces a new performance class. The models are equipped with a C-mount lens connector with adjustable mounting dimensions. A symmetrical housing permits mounting at 90/180 degrees without having to create new holders.
Strong communicative skills are another strong point of the GigE. Besides a trigger input and a flash output, which are both optically decoupled, the newcomers have a RS232 interface and two GPIO ports that can be used either as digital inputs or digital outputs.
Inside the camera two processor cores provide superior performance. The Plug and Play Camera Manager, self-developed by IDS, makes installation and integration just as easy as with the USB versions. The software development kit is identical, which means that upgrading to the GigE does not require any changes to the application and takes only a few minutes.
